Vintage 80's red patterned blouse by famed French designer Louis Féraud. Excellent vintage condition.Marked a size. 14 but that is vintage, designer sizing! This fits much smaller. Recommend for a size M as the blouse is meant to have an oversized, billowy fit as was the style at the time, but may fit a size L. Please check measurements below to ensure best fit.
Féraud was called one of the original masters of French haute couture by both Vogue and the LA Times. He got his start in the 60's designing for Brigitte Bardot alongside contemporarys like Oleg Cassini. He retired from designing in 1995 before his death in 1999. This blouse appears to be from one of his collections in the mid to late 80's. I have included some Louis Féraud advertisements from 1983 and 1987 issues of Vogue to show how it matches the styles he was doing at that time.
