These pre-filters, sometimes referred to as filter wraps, prevent large dust particles and debris that would otherwise clog or damage the air filter, without significantly affecting airflow. They are made from dry weave polyester mesh fabric, and have an elastic base for secure fitment. Some applications include pull tabs for easier installation and removal, they are easy to clean by washing with soap and water.
