The 1920’s through the 1940’s people would have their loved ones photo made into a ring. People used to also make prison rings with their girlfriend/wife loved ones also.
This was an early 20th century version of the Gregorian era mourning jewelry of the 1800’s.
This ring is approximately size 6.5 maybe 7.
It has been repaired. See the last photo.
It is also a nice piece for anyone who collects and or just enjoys unique treasures. lol
