The most weakest part of any exhaust system is the Flex Section. The stock flex pipe on your catalytic converter is meant to flex or bend so as to not damage the rest of your exhaust system. Because of this, due to age and stress, they do break. A far more cost effective solution is to replace the head pipe using a repair kit like ours.
