From the Manufacturer E-767 is AWACS (Airborne Warning And Control System) which carries the E-3 Sentry system on a Boeing 767-200. Only JASDF has adopted it. Four aircraft were delivered from 1998 to 1999, and are operating from the Airborne Warning and Control Squadron / Airborne Early Warning Group of Hamamatsu ase in Shizuoka prefecture. It can monitor and control more than a 600km radius area flying more than 8 hours.
