This is a very heavy (four pounds, five ounces) cut crystal decanter. It is rectangular in shape with a vertical cut design and matching stopper. I do not see any markings on the decanter, so I am not sure who made it, but it’s very nicely done with sharp symmetrical cuts and a thick solid base.
The decanter measures 8.00 inches tall to the rim and 11.75 inches tall to the top of the stopper. It is 4.50 inches across at the bottom, 4.75 inches across at the top and 6.00 inches deep. The bottom inch is solid crystal.
One oddity is the way the inside is cut at the bottom. As seen in picture 3, depending on what side you are looking at, one side is cut almost straight across while the other dips down another quarter inch.
Other than this, the decanter has no chips, cracks, or other damage and no previous alcohol scent.
