This engineer jacket is made with special order 8oz selvedge denim. Based on a 1960s engineer jacket, this ROCOCO special order model retains the work details of the time while adding a unique playfulness. It's a jacket you can wear like a cardigan. The 8oz fabric is relatively thin among denim fabrics, offering a lightweight and soft feel. Despite being light-ounce, it develops a vintage-like, heavy texture with repeated wear. It's soft and lightweight, so you can wear it casually. The selvedge denim adds a design accent, with red ear (selvedge) detailing on the chest pocket and hem. Blue bar tacks, inspired by the brand name, are applied to the sides of the hem and the back, providing a unique accent. The work details of the time are reproduced faithfully, including the sturdy sewing with three-needle (triple stitch) wrapping, bar tacks, and cuffs. The pockets are patch pockets, and the leather patch and donut buttons are original. Like the fabric, they develop character with use.
