I tested the buttons, I tested a MiniDV tape and it records and plays good. The tape loads and ejects the tape. I noticed a message on the screen saying tape head needs cleaning, which can be cleaned with MiniDV head cleaner (not included). Memory card and MiniDV cassette are not included.
