This is a k-type thermocouple wire with yellow PVC insulation, which is good up to about 105 C or 221 F. When this wire is used as extension wire, it can transmit the temperature signal over the full type K range, from -320 to +2500 degree F.This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own thermocouples for a wide range of applications, or to make your own extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard thermocouple specifications. It is sold in 50 yard (150 ft) rolls, so if you order 2 units of this, you will receive 2 rolls, each 50 yard long. Look for a different listing to find this in 10 yard, 100 yard or 220 yard rolls.
