- Never Blend In: Lime Crime’s Unicorn Hair Bleach Kit 40 Volume is the perfect base to make Unicorn Hair Dye its most vibrant color! Works on all hair types. Lifts up to 8 levels. Infused with aloe vera. Kit includes one powder hair bleach, one 40 Vol cream developer, and one pair of vinyl gloves.
- Prep: Do a strand test prior to full application of our hair lightening kit. Wear old clothes or an apron and wear gloves; bleach will stain clothing. Make sure your hair is unwashed, dry, and combed through. Divide hair into four sections with two on top and two on the bottom.
- Mixing: Mix one-part hair bleach to two parts developer in a plastic, ceramic, or glass bowl. Do not use a metal bowl or utensils. Stir until there are no clumps and mixture is consistent.
- Application: Using a tinting brush, start at the back where your hair is the thickest and work into small sections from the crown of your head down. After 5-10 minutes finish your roots. Cip up your hair and wait 15-20 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water and wash out all product. Follow with Lime Crime’s Unicorn Hair Universal Shampoo and Conditioner; do not use conditioner if you plan on coloring your hair after.
