A pack of 1 - 63mm x 50mm x 55mm thick Switchable Magnetic Base. The magnet is magnetised on the bottom face which features a shallow vee shape to allow it to grip onto round faces of at least 80mm+ diameter. Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 80kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness to the magnet. Each magnet can also support up to 16kgs in a shear position before beginning to slide down a steel surface under the same conditions. These magnets are held in place by the Magnetic Face and have a maximum operating temperature of 50 degrees C. The base of our Magnetic Pads have a polurethane coating in order to prevent damage to smooth surfaces. These powerful magnets have a maximum pull of 80 kgs when placed on flat steel surfaces which are at least 6mm thick. Each magnet features a simple toggle type switching mechanism which will switch the magnet ON or OFF by simply turning the switch through 90 degrees.
