Each fan has a Thermistor Sensor that will automatically start the fan at 77F and adjust the fan speed from low to high as the temperature changes. The fans will run at low rpm (42 CFM) until the sensor detects an increase in heat, then the speed will begin to increase up to high rpm. (96 CFM) The location of the probe controls the performance of the system. Position the probe at the heat source for more airflow or farther away from the heat source for less airflow. With a noise level of only 19 dBA at top speed, the SXT380-E is one of the quietest 2U models. Available in both intake and exhaust versions. The Intake model SXT380 blows air into the rack.
