This is a Royal Worcester plate with floral design with blue and green enamel leaves in a sterling silver frame that is marked Shreve and Co, Sterling and 6773. It is pattern C662. The backstamp is dated 1873 to 1897. The sterling rim is plain with no particular design and has quite a bit of tarnish. This plate is NOT dishwasher or microwave safe.
The plate measures 10.75 inches across from rim to rim.
The plate is white with a blue band at the rim, pink flowers in a blue pot and blue and green enamel leaves. The center also has a floral design with a ring of leaves. The plate has an Rd number as shown which dates the plate to the early 1900s.
The plate has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The frame is marked as shown.
