Wow what a specimen! All three mineral species are well represented here. The buildup of the specimen creates a natural work of art. The Apophylite, which is rare from this locality, has sharp well defined features and a high surface luster. The Apophylites Cubic structure creates an added dimension of aesthetics. The Green Prehnite has a glowing pearlescent luster and great color saturation. Its crystal structure is intricate and well defined. Superb transparency and looks incredible wrapped around the Quartz Point. The Quartz is in fine form with water clear transparency, a high surface luster and sharp well defined crystal structure. The Quartz is the focal point of the specimen with a phenomenal synergy of the Green Prehnite wrapping around the Quartz with the cube of Apophylite at the base. This is much nicer than your average specimen of quartz and Prehnite from Namibia.
